5 = 5

2 + 3 = 2 + 3

2x + 3x = 2x + 3x

2x - 2x = 3x - 3x

-2(x + x) = -3(x + x)

Lets say that (x + x) is "a"

-2(a) = -3(a)

Thus, -2 = -3

Go for it.
